The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Kansas City’s Panowyk fined, suspended
Kansas City’s Mike Panowyk has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #133, Kansas City at Allen, on Nov. 9.
Panowyk is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as the result of an unpenalized elbowing infraction at 11:13 of the first period.
Panowyk will miss Kansas City’s game at Allen tonight (Nov. 10).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Rapid City’s Marsh fined, suspended
Rapid City’s Adam Marsh has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #131, Fort Wayne at Rapid City, on Nov. 9.
Marsh is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as the result of an unpenalized interference infraction at 4:36 of the third period.
Marsh will miss Rapid City’s games vs. Fort Wayne tonight (Nov. 10) and at Idaho on Nov. 14.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
