Tulsa prevails in Game 7 over Kansas City

Tulsa prevails in Game 7 over Kansas City

The Tulsa Oilers defeated the Kansas City Mavericks 6-2 on Wednesday at BOK Center in the 45th Game 7 in ECHL postseason history. With the win, the Oilers advance to the Mountain Division Finals in the 2019 Kelly Cup Playoffs presented by SmileDirectClub where they will meet the Idaho Steelheads.

Alex Dostie had three goals and an assist for the Oilers to lead the way for Tulsa while Ryan Tesink added a pair of goal of his own and Stephen Perfetto picked up three assists. Devin Williams turned aside 25 shots to record the win in goal.

Dostie led Tulsa in the series with nine goals and 13 points.

The Mavericks were led by Corey Durocher, who had five goals.
