ECHL mourns loss of Teddy Blaisdell

The ECHL and its member teams mourn the loss and express their condolences to the family and friends of former Manchester Monarchs’ equipment assistant and assistant equipment manager Teddy Blaisdell, who passed away on Sunday following a lengthy illness.

Blaisdell assisted the Monarchs equipment staff over the past 18 years, spanning the team’s time in the American Hockey League and the ECHL. During his time with the team, he worked hard to assist the equipment staff working long hours and never complaining while making lasting friendships with Monarchs’ players and visiting team’s staffs.

Services will be held Thursday, August 22 at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home. 537 Union St. in Manchester from 4-7 p.m.

A GoFundMe has been established to assist his family with funeral expenses. Please visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/teddy-blaisdell-funeral-fund&rcid=r01-156626120773-dc0bd122d6694c54&pc=ot_co_campmgmt_w for more details.
