Leavens returns to Beast

BRAMPTON, Ontario - The Brampton Beast announced that they have re-signed forward Daniel Leavens for the 2019-20 season.

Leavens, 26, was traded to the Beast late in the season, and tallied 16 points (4g-12a) in 15 regular-season games with Brampton while adding three points in six games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The Toronto, Ontario native suited up in 59 overall games in 2018-19 split between Brampton, Toledo and Atlanta, accumulating 42 points between the three clubs.

Prior to turning pro, Leavens played four seasons at Robert Morris University, serving as an alternate captain during his senior season in 2016-17. He was a two-time NCAA (AHA) regular-season Champion and was also named to the NCAA (AHA) Third All-Conference Team in 2016-17.
