Oilers bring back Sampair

Oilers bring back Sampair

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Oilers, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues, announced the signing of forward Charlie Sampair.

Sampair, 25, returns to Tulsa after posting 35 points (18g-17a) in 55 games for the Oilers last season. Sampair also spent 13 games with the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage, tallying five points (3g-2a)

During the 2017-18 campaign, Sampair led the Oilers in scoring, compiling 61 points (32g-29a) in 71 games. Before coming to Tulsa, Sampair made his pro debut in 2016 with the Alaska Aces.

Before turning pro, Sampair spent four seasons with the University of Minnesota-Duluth from 2012-16, appearing in 102 career games.
