Beaudin makes NHL debut

Former Colorado Eagles' forward J.C. Beaudin is the 665th former ECHL player to reach the NHL as he debuts on Wednesday for the Ottawa Senators against Detroit.

Beaudin is the third former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season. He tallied 27 points (7g-20a) in 30 games with the Eagles during the 2017-18 season and added 18 points (10g-8a) in 22 postseason contests as Colorado captured its second consecutive Kelly Cup title.

The 22-year-old has recorded 23 points (9g-14a) in 98 career American Hockey League games with San Antonio, Colorado and Belleville. He was selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round (71st overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
