Alex Dubeau of the Brampton Beast is the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Nov. 25-Dec. 1.
Dubeau went 2-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .969 in two appearances at Adirondack lat week.
The 25-year-old turned aside 30 shots in an 8-2 win on Friday and made 32 saves in a 4-0 victory on Saturday.
Under contract to Belleville of the American Hockey League, Dubeau is 7-1-0 in nine appearances with the Beast this season. He is tied for fifth in the league in wins while he is tied for third with two shutouts, seventh with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage. Late last season, he made his pro debut with Fort Wayne, going 3-2-1 in six appearances.
A native of Mascouche, Quebec, he spent the previous four seasons at the University of New Brunswick, where he appeared in 65 games going 45-15-0 with a 2.21 goals-against average and a save percentage of .901.
Dubeau also played five seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Shawinigan and Moncton posting a record of 138-68-8 in 228 career appearances with 16 shutouts, a 2.84 goals-against average and a save percentage of .928.
