Harkins makes NHL debut

Former Jacksonville Icemen forward Jansen Harkins became the 668th former ECHL player to reach the NHL when he debuted with the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday at Minnesota.

Harkins is the sixth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season. He posted six points (2g-4a) in six games with the Icemen during the 2017-18 season.

The 22-year-old has recorded 82 points (27g-55a) in 156 career American Hockey League games with Manitoba.
