Quinney makes NHL debut

Former Wheeling Nailers' forward Gage Quinney became the 675th former ECHL player to reach the NHL when he debuted with the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday against the Florida Panthers.

Quinney is the 13th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season. He tallied 44 points (18g-26a) in 46 games with the Nailers during the 2016-17 season.

The Las Vegas native, who is the first Nevada-born player to appear in an NHL game, has totaled 108 points (47g-61a) in 167 career American Hockey League games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Chicago.
