Montminy re-signs with Rush

Montminy re-signs with Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Arizona Coyotes, announced that Cedric Montminy has re-signed with the Rush for the 2020-21 season.

A native of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Montminy returns to the Rush for a third season. Since joining the team as a rookie in the 2018-19 campaign, he has posted 50 points (26g-24a) in 86 games. In his rookie season, Montminy led the Rush in goals, becoming the fifth rookie in team history to amass 20 goals in a season. Last season, he recorded 12 points (6g-6a) in 26 games.

Before joining the Rush, Montminy was a prolific scorer in France and Germany, earning 97 points (40g-57a) in 61 games. Prior to turning professional, Montminy played in the Quebe Major Junior Hockey League with the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
