BOISE, Idaho –Forward Colby McAuley has agreed to terms with the Idaho Steelheads for the 2020-21 season.
McAuley played in 19 games with the Steelheads during the 2019-20 campaign tallying 12 points (8g-4a) after being acquired in a trade from the Orlando Solar Bears in January.
The 24-year-old began his professional career with the American Hockey League’s San Jose Barracuda in 2016-17 and has split his time in the ECHL with the Steelheads, Solar Bears and Allen, posting 79 points (36g-43a) in 125 career games.
Prior to his professional career, McAuley played for three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Prince George Cougars where he was an alternate captain during his final two seasons. During his stint with the Cougars, McAuley posted 96 points (44g-52a).
