O'Connor re-signs with Mavericks

O'Connor re-signs with Mavericks

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The Kansas City Mavericks announced the club has signed forward Charlie O’Connor to a contract for the 2020-21 season.

O’Connor, a native of Elk Grove Village, Illinois joined the Mavericks last season in January in a trade from the Norfolk Admirals. He appeared in 13 games for Kansas City, notching three points (2g-1a). Overall last season, he totaled 17 points (9g-8a) in his time with the Mavericks and Admirals.

A four-year pro at the ECHL level, O’Connor has appeared in 128 games with 49 points (23g-26a) to go along with a +7 plus-minus rating. He has never accumulated more than 24 penalty minutes in any professional season.
