Cyclones add Mingo

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones have signed defenseman Dajon Mingo to a contract for the 2020-21 season.Mingo enters his fifth full professional season and spent the past three seasons with the Jacksonville Icemen. During that time, he posted 91 points (23g-68a) in 171 games. His 2018-19 season was arguably his best as he was selected to the 2019 ECHL All-Star Classic while also appearing in three games with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Before joining Jacksonville, Mingo played a season with the Kalamazoo Wings and a partial season with the Toledo Walleye.Prior to turning pro, the Canton, Michigan native played five seasons at Bowling Green State University tallying 44 points (12g-32a) in 107 career games. Before joining the Falcons, Mingo played with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League where he led the team in goals (24) and was tied for second in points (33).
