Marotte returns to Americans

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed goalie Francis Marotte to a contract for the 2021-22 season.

Marotte returns to the Americans after posting an 8-3-1 record and a .917 save percentage in 12 games last season. He also appeared in two games with Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.

A native of Longueuil, Quebec Marotte won 50 games in three seasons at Robert Morris University before transfering to Clarkson University for his senior season where he went 23-8-3 with a 1.78 goals-against average in 34 appearances during the 2019-20 season.
