Hodgson makes NHL debut

Former Manchester Monarchs, Florida Everblades, Wichita Thunder, Reading Royals, Utah Grizzlies and Wheeling Nailers' forward Hayden Hodgson became the 724th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday at St. Louis.

Hodgson is the 26th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He recorded 44 points (22g-22a) in 98 career ECHL games from 2017-21.

A native of Windsor, Ontario, Hodgson has totaled 35 points (21g-14a) in 85 career games in the American Hockey League with Cleveland and Lehigh Valley.
