Drew makes NHL debut

Former Tulsa Oilers' defenseman Hunter Drew became the 726th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday at San Jose.

Drew is the 28th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He recorded four assists in five games with the Oilers during the 2019-20 season.

A sixth-round selection (178th overall) of the Ducks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, Drew has totaled 57 points (25g-32a) in 126 career games with San Diego of the American Hockey League.
