The ECHL and its member teams mourn the loss and express their condolences to the family and friends of former ECHL player Lance Galbraith, who passed away in an accident on Thursday at the age of 42.

Galbraith recorded 349 points (145g-204a) in 466 career ECHL games over eight seasons with Augusta, Dayton, Idaho, Alaska and Utah from 2001-10. He ranks sixth in ECHL history with 2,104 career penalty minutes, and captured Kelly Cup championships with the Steelheads in 2004 and 2007. Over the course of his career, he also suited up with Fort Wayne in the United Hockey League and Wichita in the Central Hockey League.
