Volcan agrees to terms with Komets

Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Komets announced that rookie forward Nolan Volcan has signed with the team for the 2023-24 season.

Volcan skated the last four seasons at the University of Alberta. He netted 25 points (10g-15a) in 28 games with the Golden Bears last season. The 25-year-old also played six seasons with Seattle of the Western Hockey League from 2014-19, finishing his junior career with 231 points (100g-131a) and 251 penalty minutes in 321 games. Volcan captained the Thunderbirds in his final season.
