Taylor back for 13th season in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that veteran forward Justin Taylor has been signed to a contract for the 2023-24 season.

Taylor, 34, is entering his 14th professional season. He is Kalamazoo’s all-time leader in games played (685), goals (257) and points (498).

Last season, Taylor led the team in goals (20) and points (41) and was third on the team in assists (21). 

Taylor began his professional career with the American Hockey League’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers in 2010-11 before joining the K-Wings later that season. 

Entering the 2023-24 season, Taylor ranks third in ECHL history with 795 career games played and is 23rd with 538 points.
