Allen Americans

  • Brandon Puricelli scored his first pro goal on Friday at Idaho.
  • Allen leads the league with three shorthanded goals.
  • The Americans host Atlanta on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Idaho Steelheads

  • Keaton Mastrodonato and Ben Zloty tallied their first professional points and first goals Saturday night.
  • The Steelheads totaled 88 shots on goal in two games against Allen.
  • Idaho is at Utah on Friday and Saturday.

 

Kansas City Mavericks

  • Max Andreev, Ty Enns and Kyle Jackson each recorded their first professional goals over the first two games.
  • Kansas City is 2-0-0 for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
  • The Mavericks host Wichita on Tuesday and are at Rapid City on Friday and Saturday.

 

Rapid City Rush

  • Connor Murphy stopped 25 shots to earn 4-3 shootout win in pro debut Friday at Iowa.
  • The Rush have won their season opener for three consecutive seasons.
  • Rapid City hosts Kansas City on Friday and Saturday.

 

Tulsa Oilers

  • Tomas Suchanek stopped 26 of 27 shots in his pro debut on Sunday at Utah.
  • Tulsa is 4-1-1 in its last six home openers.
  • The Oilers host Cincinnati on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Utah Grizzlies

  • Garrett Metcalf recorded his first career shutout in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Tulsa.
  • The Grizzlies are 2-0-0 for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
  • Utah hosts Idaho on Friday and Saturday.

 

Wichita Thunder

  • Bradley Marek scored two goals in his pro debut on Friday against Kansas City.
  • Wichita is 2-for-3 on the power play (66.7 percent) through two games.
  • The Thunder travel to Kansas City on Tuesday and host Cincinnati on Friday and Iowa on Saturday and Sunday.
