Dube makes NHL debut

Former Trois-Rivières Lions' forward Pierrick Dube became the 749th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Washington Capitals on Saturday at Florida.

Dube is the ninth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2023-24 season. He made his pro debut with the Lions during the 2021-22 season, notching four points (1g-3a) in 10 games before adding 14 points (9g-5a) in nine games in the 2022-23 season.

A native of Lyon, France, Dube has totaled 66 points (40g-26a) in 94 career American Hockey League games with Laval and Hershey.
