Schedule announced for 2024 Kelly Cup Finals

The ECHL announced on Tuesday the schedule for the 2024 Kelly Cup Finals between the Kansas City Mavericks and Florida Everblades.

Game 1 – Friday, May 31 at 7:05 p.m. CT at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri
Game 2 – Saturday, June 1 at 7:05 p.m. CT at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri
Game 3 – Wednesday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida
Game 4 – Friday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida
Game 5 – Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida *
Game 6 – Monday, June 10 at 7:05 p.m. CT at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri *
Game 7 – Wednesday, June 12 at 7:05 p.m. CT at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri *

Kansas City defeated Toledo 4 games to 2 in the Western Conference Finals to reach the Kelly Cup Finals for the first time in team history. Florida defeated Adirondack 4 games to 2 in the Eastern Conference Finals to become the first team in ECHL history to reach the Finals in three consecutive seasons. The Everblades are appearing in the Kelly Cup Finals for a league-record seventh time, and are seeking to become the first team to win three consecutive ECHL championships.

Formed in 1988-89 with five teams in four states, the ECHL has grown into a coast-to-coast league with 27 teams in 20 states and one Canadian province for its 36th season in 2023-24. There have been 752 players who have gone on to play in the National Hockey League after starting their careers in the ECHL, including 12 who have made their NHL debuts in the 2023-24 season. The ECHL has affiliations with 28 of the 32 NHL teams in 2023-24, marking the 26th consecutive season that the league has affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.
