Admirals bring back Stead

Norfolk, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Winnipeg Jets and American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose, announced they have signed goaltender Kristian Stead to a contract for the 2024-25 season.
 
The Merritt, British Columbia native spent most of last season in the SPHL with Knoxville, where he appeared in 13 games. He also saw action in 11 total ECHL games, split between the Admirals and Tulsa. In six games with the Admirals, Stead went 4-2-0 with a 1.91 goals-against average.
 
Stead attended training camp with the Admirals in 2022 before spending the entire 2022-23 season in Knoxville where he went 20-9-1 in 34 appearances with two shutouts, a 3.04 goals-against average and a save percentage of .912.
