Gorman signs with Americans

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Utah Hockey Club, announced the team has signed forward Liam Gorman for the 2024-25 season. 

Gorman was selected in the sixth round (177th overall) of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Arlington, Massachusetts native played last season at UMass-Amherst, appearing in 28 games. Prior to that, he played for three years at Princeton University. In his final season at Princeton, he had 24 points (12g-12a) in 32 games to finish second overall on the team in scoring.
