GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings, announced that Jake Flynn will return to the team for the 2024-25 season.
Flynn comes back to the Swamp Rabbits having skated his first professional games with the team last year following the conclusion of his NCAA career. He made his professional debut on March 22 at Jacksonville, earning an assist in a 5-4 win. He later followed up with his first professional goal in his home debut on March 28, contributing to a 3-2 overtime win against Savannah. In total, Flynn played in 10 games and earned three points (1g-2a) and a +6 rating and followed up with a +1 rating in six Kelly Cup Playoff games.
From Weymouth, Massachusetts, Flynn joined the Swamp Rabbits last season at the conclusion of his career with UConn. As a fifth-year defenseman, he notched six points (1g-5a) in 33 games, and completed his career with 45 points (10g-35a) in 152 games with the Huskies.
