Francis returns to Gladiators

Duluth, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators announced that the club has re-signed forward Ryan Francis for the 2025-26 season.

Francis, 23, re-signs with the Gladiators after scoring three goals in six games with the team last season after being acquired in a March trade with the Adirondack Thunder. Overall last season, Francis totaled 19 points (13g-6a) in 36 games during the 2024-25 campaign.

The native of Halifax, Nova Scotia was selected by the Calgary Flames in the fifth round (143rd overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Entering his fourth season of professional hockey, Francis has experience playing in the American Hockey League and ECHL. In 27 career AHL games with Stockton, Laval and Ontario, Francis has posted three points (1g-2a). He has recorded 87 points (45g-42a) in 124 career ECHL games with Trois-Rivieres, Greenville, Adirondack and Atlanta.
