Pennington back with K-Wings

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that rookie defenseman Davis Pennington signed a contract for the 2025-26 season.

Pennington initially joined the K-Wings out of Quinnipiac University on April 1 last season. In seven games with Kalamazoo, the 24-year-old notched four points (1g-3a).

A native of Saline, Michigan, Pennington spent two seasons with the Bobcats, recording 41 points (4g-37a) in 77 career games. Prior to that, he suited up with the University of Nebraska-Omaha for two seasons, tallying 23 points (3g-20a) in 66 games.
