Knuble, Drazner reunite with K-Wings

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that rookie forward Cam Knuble and rookie defenseman Robby Drazner have signed contracts for the 2025–26 season.

Knuble, 25, posted a career-high 15 points (5g-10a) in 2024–25, helping lead Western Michigan University to its first national championship in program history. Across five seasons with the Broncos (2020–25), Knuble appeared tallied 18 points (7g-11a) in 133 games and served as an alternate captain in his final year.

Cam’s father, Mike, played with the North American Hockey League's Kalamazoo Jr. Wings in the 1990–91 season before being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fourth round (76th overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Mike went on to play 1,068 NHL games, totaling 548 points (278g-270a) across 16 seasons, and captured the Stanley Cup with Detroit in 1998. 

Drazner, 25, recorded 14 points (5g-9a) in 42 games last season at Western Michigan. Before transferring to WMU, Drazner played four seasons at Miami University, where he notched 14 points (6g-8a) in 113 games.
