The ECHL Department of Player Safety on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Trois-Rivières’ Gulka; Adirondack’s Amesbury fined, suspended
Trois-Rivières’ Sean Gulka has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount and Adirondack’s Daniel Amesbury has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions in ECHL Game #1051, Adirondack at Trois-Rivières, on April 10.
Both players fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as the result of their actions during pre-game warmups.
Gulka will miss Trois-Rivières’ games at Adirondack (April 11, April 12 and April 17).
Amesbury will miss Adirondack’s game vs. Trois-Rivières tonight (April 11).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Worcester’s Hatten fined, suspended
Worcester’s Lincoln Hatten has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #1044, Worcester at Greensboro, on April 10.
Hatten is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as the result of an unpenalized illegal check to the head infraction at 6:00 of the first period.
Hatten will miss Worcester’s games at Greensboro (April 11 and April 12) and at Maine (April 15).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Tahoe’s Stanick fined, suspended
Tahoe’s Sloan Stanick has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #1040, Allen at Tahoe, on April 10.
Stanick is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as the result of an unpenalized elbowing infraction at 8:05 of the first period.
Stanick will miss Tahoe’s game at Allen tonight (April 11).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
