KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that forward Ryan Cox has signed a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Cox is entering his fourth professional season. Last season, he set career highs in goals (17) and points (30), while tying a career high in assists (13), over 72 games.
The 28-year-old began his pro career with Toledo in 2023, notching 11 points (5g-6a) in 12 games. In 2023-24, he split time between Orlando and Reading, scoring 13 points (7g-6a) in 35 games for the Solar Bears, and adding 13 points (7g-6a) in 23 games with the Royals. In 2024-25, Cox appeared in all 72 games for the K-Wings, earning 22 points (9g-13a).
Before turning pro, Cox skated parts of five seasons for Niagara University, registering 69 points (35g-34a) in 152 games. In his fifth-year senior season, he totaled 28 points (14g-14a) in 40 games.
