Dalmao named assistant coach for Bakersfield Condors

Duncan Dalmao, who has spent the last four seasons as head coach of the Indy Fuel, has been named an assistant coach with the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors.

Dalmao posted an overall record of 159-112-34 in his four-plus seasons as the Fuel's head coach, and led the team to the Kelly Cup Playoffs in each of his four full seasons as head coach. Prior to joining the Fuel, he spent two seasons as an assistant coach with the Brampton Beast, working with head coach Colin Chaulk, who is now the Condors' head coach.

During his playing career, Dalmao totaled 201 points (49g-152a) in 391 career ECHL games with Jacksonville, Birmingham, Pee Dee, Roanoke and Greenville, and received the ECHL Defenseman of the Year Award in 2001-02.
