GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League’s Utica Comets, have announced that the club has re-signed forward Tanner Edwards to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Edwards, 26, returns to Adirondack after recording nine points (3g-6a) and 72 penalty minutes in 37 games last season after being acquired in a trade with South Carolina.
Prior to joining the Thunder, Edwards played eight games last season with the Stingrays and one game with the Toledo Walleye. Before his began his professional career, the Anchorage, Alaska native played his final collegiate year with University of Alaska-Anchorage and totaled eight points (3g-5a) in 31 games.
In a total of 52 collegiate games with Minnesota State University and University of Alaska-Anchorage, Edwards had 16 points (5g-11a).
