Farren joins Knight Monsters

STATELINE, Nev. – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced the signing of forward Michael Farren.

A native of Surrey, British Columbia, Farren joins the Knight Monsters after spending last season in Slovakia with HK 32 Liptovsky Mikulas, where he posted 14 points (6g-8a) in 14 games.

Prior to heading overseas, Farren spent the previous three seasons with the Tulsa Oilers, serving as alternate captain in 2023-24 and captain in 2024-25. In 170 games with Tulsa, Farren posted 107 points (49g-58a).

During the 2024-25 season, Farren also appeared in one game for the AHL’s San Diego Gulls. Prior to his time in the ECHL, Farren played for Steel Wings Linz in Austria, where he recorded 39 points (17g-22a) in 38 games, ranking second on the team in 2021-22.
