Knight Monsters bring back Taylor

STATELINE, Nev. – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced the signing of defenseman Kaelan Taylor.

Taylor rejoins the Knight Monsters for his second full season after posting 20 points (3g-17a) in 67 games last season.

Taylor came to Tahoe at the end of the 2024-25 season, playing in five games for the Knight Monsters during their inaugural campaign, scoring two points (1g-1a).

The Oceanside, California native appeared in 149 career games at Clarkson University, including serving as captain during his final season.

Prior to joining Clarkson, Taylor spent one season in the North American Hockey League for the Corpus Christi IceRays, and later played in 105 games over two seasons for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League, serving as an alternate captain during the 2019-20 season.
