Lions agree to terms with Darcy

Trois-Rivières, Quebec - The Trois-Rivières Lions, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, have announced the signing of defenseman Thomas Darcy for the 2026-2027 season.

A native of Terrebonne, Quebec, Darcy joins Trois-Rivières after splitting the 2025-26 season between the Pétroliers de Laval of the LNAH and HK Skalica in Slovakia.

Before making the jump to professional hockey, Darcy played four seasons in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League with the Moncton Wildcats and the Quebec Remparts. In 94 regular-season games, he recorded 38 points (15g-23a). His most memorable junior season came in 2022-23, when he helped the Remparts reach the Memorial Cup title.

Following his junior career, Darcy continued his development with the University of Guelph.
