Gargoyles bring back Price, add Paquette

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Gargoyles, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes and the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves, announced the signing of defensemen Caleb Price and Tyler Paquette for the 2026-27 season.

Price, 26, originally signed with Greensboro on March 25, 2026, after playing the first 10 games of his professional career in Norfolk. The Hookset, New Hampshire native played 10 games with the Gargoyles jersey, recording one. Price appeared in 110 career collegiate games at Mercyhurst University, notching 31 points (7g-24a).

Paquette, 25, was acquired from the Indy Fuel this summer following his rookie season. The Penn State University alumnus appeared in 143 collegiate games, finishing his collegiate career with 48 points (27g-21a). With the Fuel, Paquette recorded 22 points (8g-14a) during his first professional season in 2025-26.
