Gladiators agree to terms with Tremblay

Duluth, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced that the team has signed forward Sam Tremblay for the 2026-27 season.

Tremblay, 31, joins Atlanta after scoring 17 points (7g-10a) in 48 games with the Sheffield Steelers of the Elite Ice Hockey League last season. He returns to the ECHL after playing the three seasons in Europe with the Manchester Storm, Sheffield Steelers and Sheffield Steeldogs.

A native of St-Basile-le Grand, Quebec, Tremblay played at McGill University from 2016-22 before beginning his professional career with the Wheeling Nailers in the 2022-23 season, where he finished the campaign with 29 points (9g-20a) in 63 games. He then signed with the Manchester Storm for the 2023-24 season, scoring 25 points (12g-13a) in 48 games under current Gladiators head coach Matt Ginn.

Tremblay spent the next two seasons within the Sheffield Steelers organization, spending time with both the Steelers and the Steeldogs in the 2024-25 season, scoring 15 points (6g-9a) in 18 games with the Steelers and 68 points (30g-38a) in 43 games with the Steeldogs.
