Icemen agree to terms with Schiavon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild and the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild, announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Cody Schiavon for the 2026-27 season.

Schiavon, 26, had two assists in 17 games last season in his first professional action with the Orlando Solar Bears and the Indy Fuel. A native of West Kelowna, British Columbia, Schiavon played five years of college hockey with the University of Vermont (2020-22) and Canisius University (2022-25). Schiavon also played junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League from 2017-20 with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, Surrey Eagles and Trail Smoke Eaters.
