WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks and American Hockey League's San Jose Barracuda, announced that the team has signed forward Tyler Preziuso for the 2026-27 season.
Preziuso, 27, is entering his second season as a pro. The Burnaby, British Columbia native played his rookie campaign overseas for the Elite Ice Hockey League's Guildford Flames, recording 12 points (5g-7a) in 31 games.
Prior to heading to Europe, Preziuso played four years at the University of Alberta, tallying 74 points (39g-35a) in 94 career games.
He played his junior career in the Western Hockey League for Medicine Hat and Vancouver. Preziuso was named an alternate captain for both teams during the 2019-20 campaign. His best season came in 2018-19 when he posted 50 points (21g-29a) in 68 games for the Tigers.
