BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads, ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced that the club has signed forward Grant Silianoff to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Silianoff, 25, enters his second ECHL season after posting 12 points (7g-5a) in 43 games with Idaho last campaign. He also added an assist in Game 1 of the Mountain Division Semifinals against the Allen Americans.
The Edina, Minnesota native previously spent five seasons at the University of Notre Dame from 2020-25 where he racked up 54 points (21g-33a) in 159 career games. Silianoff notched eight points (5g-3a) in 38 games for the Fighting Irish in his final season where he served as an alternate captain as a graduate student.
Prior to collegiate hockey, Silianoff played parts of three seasons in the United States Hockey League with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders from 2018-20 where he produced 75 points (33g-42a) in 100 career games.
