ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning, have agreed to terms with forward Zach Faremouth for the 2026-27 season.
Faremouth, 26, joins the Solar Bears after splitting the 2025-26 season with the Greensboro Gargoyles and Bloomington Bison. He totaled 21 points (10g-11a) in 70 games between the two teams, while also skating in four Kelly Cup Playoff Games with Bloomington.
Prior to his professional career, Faremouth spent four seasons at Ferris State University, recording 35 points (17g-18a) and 111 penalty minutes in 126 games. The Jackson, Michigan native also spent four seasons in the United States Hockey League with the Fargo Force, Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Des Moines Buccaneers. During his junior career, he appeared in 150 USHL games totaling 54 points and recording 251 penalty minutes.
