BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads, ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced that the club has signed forward Jade Miller to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Miller, 31, enters his seventh professional season, and fifth with Idaho, after posting a career-high 17 goals and 34 points last season, while playing in all 72 regular-season games. He added four points (3g-1a) in five games in Idaho’s playoff series against the Allen Americans in the Mountain Division Semifinals.
In four seasons in Boise, Miller has amassed 97 points (46g-51a) in 247 career games, while skating in 31 Kelly Cup Playoff games and picking up 13 points (6g-7a).
Miller spent his first two professional seasons in the ECHL with the South Carolina Stingrays from 2020-22, and in his ECHL career has posted 131 points (59g-72a) in 346 regular-season games.
Prior to his professional career, the Minto, North Dakota native played four seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth from 2016-20 where he won back-to-back National Championships in 2018 and 2019. In four seasons, he tallied 34 points (9g-25a) in 127 career games.
