Duluth, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced that the team has signed defenseman Owen Murray for the 2026-27 season.
Murray signs his first professional deal with the Gladiators after a four-year collegiate career at UMass, where he recorded 36 points (12g-24a) in 126 games. He logged 10 points (4g-6a) and a +12 rating in 34 games as the captain of the Minutemen in the 2025-26 campaign.
Prior to his time at UMass, the native of Decker, Manitoba spent two seasons in the United States Hockey League with the Green Bay Gamblers from 2020-22. Murray scored 38 points (9g-29a) in 97 career games with the Gamblers, and served as an alternate captain in his final season in 2021-22.
