The Tulsa Oilers welcomed the second-largest crowd in the 29-year history of the ECHL on Friday when 16,759 were in attendance at BOK Center for their game against Wichita.
The crowd broke the team's previous record of 14,265 set on March 18, 2016 against Missouri.
The all-time ECHL single-game attendance record is 20,911 set by the Greensboro Monarchs against Charlotte on Jan. 15, 1994. The Oilers now own two of the top six crowds in league history.
