Allen, Texas, - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, announced that the team has signed forward Jack Combs for the 2021-22 season.
Combs returns to North America after playing most of the last five years in Europe. He last skated for the Americans in the 2014-15 season when he posted 56 points (22g-34a) in 32 games. The 33-year-old has totaled 278 points (132g-146a) in 220 career ECHL games with Allen, Wichita, Greenville, Stockton, Cincinnati, Colorado, Alaska and Trenton.
He has also played 162 games in the American Hockey League with six different teams (Peoria, Chicago, Worcester, Bridgeport, San Antonio and Oklahoma City).
Prior to turning pro, Combs played in the Ontario Hockey League from 2005-09, recording 235 points (96g-139a) in 298 games with Kitcherner and Saginaw.
