The ECHL announced on Monday that Baron Championship Rings will serve as the “Official Championship Ring of the ECHL” for the 2015-16 season for the League, and has created a new design of the ECHL Hall of Fame Ring for its upcoming induction of its Ninth Class, at its Hall of Fame Luncheon presented by BFL CANADA in Kalamazoo, Mich. The relationship continues through the 2017-18 Season, and allows the ECHL and Baron Championship Rings to design state-of-the-art rings to commemorate the success of its best both on and off the ice. “The technology, creativeness and expertise of Baron Championship Rings allows us a wave of new opportunities for us to present our athletes and personnel with stunning craftsmanship in honor of their achievements,” said ECHL Senior Vice President of Business Operations Ryan Crelin. “We look forward to this new relationship to help commemorate the ECHL’s finest through various milestone awards such as our Hall of Fame Classes, Kelly Cup Finals Officiating Staff, Championships, dedication to the League and other feats that warrant such a special piece of hardware.” “We produced our first champion ring in 1988, the same year the ECHL started,” said Peter Kanis, Executive Vice President of Baron Championship Rings. “Since those humble beginnings, we have went on to produce rings for over 10,000 teams, and today we are considered to manufacture the finest championship rings in the industry. It seems only fitting to be partnering with the ECHL, who in itself has produced hundreds of amazing hockey professionals in players and coaches. The ECHL is respected as one of the finest hockey leagues in the country. We're very honored to be working together.” The new ECHL Hall of Fame Member rings feature a 10K gold base, bearing the inductee’s last name and induction year, and crowned by the ECHL signature wordmark surrounded by red, blue and white stones to highlight the League’s color branding in the design.
