Mavericks take series lead with 6-4 win

Mavericks take series lead with 6-4 win

The Kansas City Mavericks scored five times in the second period en route to a 6-4 win over the Fort Wayne Komets on Monday in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. With the win, Kansas City takes a 2-1 lead in the series.

Bobo Carpenter had a goal and assist while Jack LaFontaine stopped 22 shots to earn the win in net. The Mavericks went 3-for-6 on the power play in the win.
