NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, have signed defenseman Aaron Harstad for the 2016-17 season.
The 24 year-old comes to Norfolk after spliting the 2015-16 campaign with the Tulsa Oilers and the American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose. While in Tulsa, he recorded eight points in 14 games.
A seventh-round selection (187th overall) of the Winnipeg Jets in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Harstad spent four successful seasons at Colorado College before turning pro at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season.
