The ECHL on Sunday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Tulsa’s Halabi fined, suspended
Tulsa’s Reid Halabi has been suspended for four games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #679, Indy at Tulsa, on Feb. 18.
Halabi was assessed a match penalty for fighting under Rule #46.15 at 18:31 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Halabi will miss Tulsa’s games vs. Wichita (Feb. 19), vs. Allen (Feb. 24), vs. Missouri (Feb. 26) and at Wichita (March 3).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Alaska’s Moynihan fined
Alaska’s Daniel Moynihan has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #676, Colorado at Alaska, on Feb. 18.
Moynihan is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 17:30 of the second period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
