Henry returns to Adirondack

Glens Falls, N.Y. - The Adirondack Thunder announced that they have re-signed forward James Henry for the 2017-18 season.

Henry returns to the Thunder for his third season in Adirondack and his fifth with the Thunder organization, after he skated in Stockton from 2013-15. Henry skated in 65 games a season ago and set career highs in goals (20), assists (34) and points (54), ranking second on the team in points. In his two seasons with Adirondack, Henry has amassed 75 points (27g-48a) in 109 games played, which places him third all-time in both points and games played in team history.

The 26-year-old has been a Thunder player for his entire professional career to date as he collected 79 points (24g-55a) over 138 games played during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons with the Stockton Thunder. Prior to beginning his professional career, the winger skated in parts of six seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Vancouver Giants and the Moose Jaw Warriors. Henry ranks fourth all time with 281 games played with Vancouver, while he places ninth with 184 career points (62g-122a).
